GRADING AND REPORTING PRACTICES

The lessons under the module 9 discusses about function of  making a a grades and the purposes and the different types of grades and the advantages and disadvantages of grades.the advantages of computing a grade is that the teacher will know or could determine the performance of his or her student.Students who are conscience of their studies and get good grades are liked and respected by their teachers and peers. Teens need to be in school most of their day, many days of the year. It is a much more rewarding experience to attend high school when you are liked and respected by those around you there are also different guidelines for effective grading.one of it is use a grading scales or rubrics that  are assignment specific.another one is to make grading time efficient.there are many strategies to reduce the time spent without reducing the quality of the grading and teaching. Below are a few examples.


And also we tackled there the criteria for marking-reporting system teachers, parents, students, administrators, and community members all agree that it need better grading and reporting systems. Often, these systems are inadequate because they are part of a tradition that can go unexamined and unquestioned for years.
