Rubrics have become very popular, a recognizable trend in education. It is used to assess student's learning and achievement. Using rubrics will help us to determine the factors that we have to consider in evaluating a certain product. We are setting a criteria in order for us to evaluate easily. Through rubrics we could explain why do we arrived in that score. students could also know their weaknesses so that they could develop it. Teacher could assigned students to make portfolio by pair or group so that they could collaborate with other. it also shows the learn ability of the students to show their masterpiece. Performance Based Assessment develop the skills of the students. The use of this assessment is to enhance the students performance. One example of this, is the reality show in ABS-CBN which is the "Junior Master Chief". The chiefs there is just giving the junior master chief the dish that they have to cook and it depends on them on how they could come up with a delicious dish. With this, they are developing their skills by performing a certain task.
